GEAR CHAIN

We specializing in the production of Agricultural Gearbox, PTO Shafts, Sprockets, Fluid Coupling, Worm Gear Reducers, Gears and racks, Roller Chains, Sheave and Pulleys, Planetary Gearboxes, Timing Pulleys, Shaft Collars and more.

Roller Chain

Roller chain has two manufacturing ways. Those are riveted and cottered. Riveted chain is made utilizing short pins that go through each link from the side, and then are riveted to provide extra strength. Cottered chain is also secured on one side with a short pin, and then reinforced on the other side with a double-pronged, removable pin called a cotter.

rotating shaft, when working both bear bending moment and bear torque, is the most common shaft in machinery, such as a variety of reducer in the shaft.

Firstly, the idler gear will change the direction of rotation of the outputshaft. Secondly, an idler gear can assist to reduce the size of the input/output gears whilst maintainingthe spacing of the shafts.

chain tensioning wheels are supplied as a set with integrated ball bearings. The bearings are sealed on both sides and lubricated for life, so they are maintenance-free. The wide inner ring ensures perfect mounting without washers. Ball race and sprocket are press-fitted to guarantee a secure, permanent connection. The sprocket is made from steel with a mechanical strength of 490-600 N/mm2.

A wheel with cog-type sprocket teeth is used to mesh with a block of precise pitch on a link or cable. A solid or spoked gear meshes with a (roller) chain to transmit motion.

Bores are machined to H9 Tolerance, BS 4500 Part 1 (ISO R286).
Keyways are metric, either tapered or parallel to ;BS 4235 Part 1, 1972 (based on ISO/R773 & R774).

Sprockets are keywayed in pairs on center line of the tooth gap with bosses facing, deep end of tapered keyway on boss side.
Single setscrews are positioned over the key way. Any second setscrew is positioned at 90 degrees to the first.

In the most situations, the power is conveyed by a roller chain which is also known as the drive chain or transmission chain. The roller chain involves the chain passing over a sprocket gear. And the teeth of the gear will mesh with the holes in the links of the chain. When the gear is turning, it pulls the chain putting mechanical force into the system.
